Community Spirit in Action: Christmas Lights Fundraiser for West Cork Rapid Response
Denis is thrilled to light up his house this Christmas for the 5th consecutive year, supporting the incredible work of West Cork Rapid Response. This community-driven, volunteer-based organization provides critical emergency medical care across West Cork, often bridging the vital gap between emergency calls and hospital care.
Over the past five years, Denis’s Christmas lights have become a local tradition, attracting neighbors, friends, and visitors from across the area. Beyond the dazzling display, the lights help raise funds to support West Cork Rapid Response — a team of dedicated volunteers working alongside the National Ambulance Service to save lives every day.
How You Can Help
We’d be grateful for any support. Every donation goes directly to helping West Cork Rapid Response continue its lifesaving work. You can contribute in two ways:
Online: Donate securely through iDonate.
In Person: Visit Denis’s home to see the lights, where a donation box for cash is available, along with a QR code you can scan to donate.
This initiative highlights the power of community spirit and local support. Denis extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who has helped make this year’s display possible, and encourages all visitors to take a moment to contribute to a cause that truly makes a difference in West Cork.
