Our Community Commitment

Our Commitment to Community

At Cronin Electrical, we believe in “powering more than just buildings” — we’re committed to energising our community, supporting local causes, and giving back where it matters. Based in Kilbrittain, West Cork, we’re proud to stand beside our neighbours as friends, supporters and active community members.

WHAT WE DO

LOCAL SPONSORSHIP & SUPPORT

KILBRITTAIN GAA

We’re proud sponsors of Kilbrittain GAA, a great local team having a brilliant year. With several staff members involved as players past and present, it’s a club that means a lot to us.
We’re also delighted to support Kilbrittain National School with new sports jerseys — backing local pupils and celebrating both present and past students.

Annual Christmas Lights Fundraiser

WEST CORK RAPID RESPONSE

Each December, Denis lights up his house for our annual Christmas fundraiser. He chooses a different charity every year, and for the past two years he has supported West Cork Rapid Response. He’s delighted to be raising funds for them again this year.

LOCAL SCHOOLS

KILBRITTAIN NATIONAL SCHOOL

We proudly support Kilbrittain National School by providing sponsored sports jerseys each year. It’s our way of backing local pupils and celebrating past students, showing our pride in the school and the community it serves.

Inspiring the Next Generation of Electricians

Denis has recently been visiting local secondary schools across West Cork to educate students about electrical security and solar career paths. He works alongside Don McCarthy from SOLAS and Cork ETB to provide students with practical insights and guidance.

We believe it’s important to show local students that there are alternative career options available after school, and we are committed to supporting them as they explore and get started in the electrical industry.

This year alone, Denis has already visited three schools in West Cork, receiving a fantastic response from 5th and 6th-year students. Many expressed interest in pursuing a career in the electrical industry after finishing school, showing the real impact of these visits in inspiring the next generation.
